Guarantee
Buyer's Responsiblity
You must have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 2 (working) days of delivery. If you receive your puppy on a Friday you must take your puppy to the veterinarian no later than Tuesday of the following week. We must be informed immediately of the examination's result by e-mail. Failure to complete this step will terminate the health guarantee on your puppy. This guarantee will then be null and void.

Health Guarantee
Your puppy is guaranteed until one year of age against fatal and life altering congenital diseases which adversely affect the health of the animal. This includes kidney, heart, pancreas, spine, and liver problems of a severe life threatening or altering nature and hip dysplasia. If the dog dies within one year of his/her birthdate, you must pay to have it autopsied to determine the cause of death. If the cause is congenital, we will replace the puppy, excluding transportation costs where applicable.
*All items covered under this guarantee will be determined at the seller’s discretion of whether a full refund, partial refund, or replacement puppy will be given.
You, the buyer are responsible for maintaining your puppy at a healthy weight, and should consult with your vet on the desired weight for your puppy. Overweight puppies are more prone to developing hip dysplasia. Also you may not spay or neuter your puppy before one year of age due to this also causing your puppy to gain excess weight before the hips are fully developed. Your puppy should have low impact, moderate excercise. Your puppy should not engage in high impact jumping activities, agility, or high incidence of going up/down stairs until the hips are fully developed at 12 months as this can also cause damage to the hips.
A puppy showing any serious genetic or congenital defect will be replaced or refunded as follows:
* The puppy must show the defect by one year of age for congenital disease and hip dysplasia. We must be notified of the problem within two (2) business days of the licensed veterinarian’s determination and have one (1) report from an unassociated veterinarian stating the same problem. We will then provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value or a refund at our discretion.
* A puppy with a defect must be returned to us in good condition, other than the specified problem or euthanized with our permission at your expense to qualify for a replacement puppy
*No replacement puppy will be given if your puppy has been bred before one year of age, spayed, neutered, or euthanized without our permission
*The replacement puppy will be mutually agreed upon by both parties and will be of comparable quality. It is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the exact same parents as the original puppy.
*We will determine each claim on a case by case basis. We reserve the right to offer a replacement puppy or issue a full or partial refund at our discretion.
*This guarantee applies to the original puppy and owner only and is nontransferable to a second party.
